"The childbirth classes are over, the nursery is ready for its soon-to-arrive occupant, the baby clothes are washed and put away, and now you wait."
This came in my email inbox today, and NONE of those statements are true. Ha! But I do start my childbirth classes on Monday, and we are planning to buy some necessary items within the next 2 weeks. And I just have to find a good source for laundry detergent before I can start washing the clothes.
I'm just amused at the presumptuousness of What to Expect.
Anyway, The Fairy Queen was a SMASH! If I may be so bold, I think I impressed the hell out of the professors at the music conservatory. I was even offered another choreography job in the middle of the performance! Even though the days in the theater this week were LONG, and there wasn't enough time to really work with the singers on gestures or character, I still found the whole process as exhilarating as ever.

You still have time. Hopefully, JP won't make a surprise entrance. Glad the Fairy Queen went well and there may be future work.
Congratulations on the show!
Congrats on the successful show!! Love, Elaina
Thanks, everybody!
love the belly and the sneakers and the chocolates! I read that the whole baby detergent thing is kind of a scam-ish, mommy-scaring thing, I'm sure whatever you use is fine! but I heard lavender oil is bad for little boys, some kind of hormone altering effect. Now I sound like the mommy scammers. sorry.
Hey Karen! I just read about the lavender oil thing, too. I guess there are mixed opinions about it-- but I'll just stay away from it.
It is scary to think that you could ruin all those expensive diapers with the wrong detergent... ugh. We just have to do our best with what they have here. The German diaper detergent info, anyway, is not quite as draconian as the American-- ha!
now it's time to kick back and get some foot rubs, yo. I'm sure there are some children in your building willing to mop your floors for a sweet Euro or two
