silly time

Folks, I won't lie to you, the last weeks have been a hard slog--jet lag, teething, and I had a huge paper due. Now the paper is done, the teething seems to be under control again, and Liam is actually SLEEPING pretty well. To celebrate, we took some silly pictures this morning.

Mr. Seven Months

Liam is going strong my friends. Waaaay strong.

Even though I am eyeball-deep in work for school (if writing 2 sentences takes half an hour, it's time to wind up the work session, no?), I have to list for you our little monkey turtle's many astounding achievements. Photo coming soon. You can't expect me to do everything!

1. CREEPING!

over to the curtains to pull and roll

over to my shoes to try and bite

over to the computer while skyping to pound on the keyboard

2. POUNDING!

on all flat surfaces

3. HEAD BUTTING!

mostly into my teeth or eyes

4. FOOD! In the HIGH CHAIR!

apple, pear, and peaches (sadly only an American treat)!

carrots! and today's special: avocado!

Spelt cereal! (We are a spelt kind of family)

also beef and cow's milk (only mixed in cereal)-- as per the pediatrician's recommendation

5. TOOOOOOOTH! (resistant to picture taking or any viewing)

I tried to make coffee without putting water in the machine 2 times this week.
