"too! too? too!"

Mostly what I want to tell you is that Liam can no longer go into the bathroom without developing a burning desire to brush his teeth. "Too?" he says. "Too!" It's real communication-- sure, he's said cheese, but that did not actually coincide with wanting to eat cheese. Well, he also says "bye" and "night-night" sometimes, I'll admit, but that hardly compares to the consistency of the last few days of teeth-brushing obsession.

He's kinda-sorta walking more and more, taking it easy and allowing us to savor each step. Now he prefers walking while holding my hand to crawling at the playground. Today he stood up on his own quite a bit. He also likes to stand up (and sometimes take a few steps) on the mattress, so when he inevitably falls down it's funny.
