That was lovely! You know that i stopped on the flowers- tried to ID them, could do some. I think many are annuals, and I don't work with them much. but i may at a later date. The castle reminded me of the one we went to= woth the hunting lodge miles away where they hunted the blue herons, the name escapes me!
Yes, the Schwetzingen palace is a lot like that one, although not painted yellow, as most of the German castles are. The big thing for me is that in Schwetzingen most of the furniture is original. AND I learned the beds are so short because people slept sitting up. Huh?

sleeping sitting up was musch better for their digestive systems since they ate so late (sounds reasonable, I do that sometimes!)
