Say that a few times. It's so fun you might not be able to stop.
For our soon-to-be little monkey, I present to you Monkey Buttons. This will be the first sweater in a small (because I don't want to be too insane) series. Now I have to figure out what to do with the luscious baby alpaca yarn that Karen gave me when I mentioned 3 years ago that I wanted to have a baby.
Feast on this Thanksgiving photo!

Your Thanksgiving guest needs a shave! Love the monkey buttons.
Cute! She was pawing the fork a few seconds earlier, and we tried unsuccessfully to get a picture of that.
Adorable sweater! I bow to your talent. :)
I think that sweater makes it official. At long last Ken's words actually have some truth to them. He really is a Monkey's Uncle (to-be).
I think I may need some monkey buttons myself. And brining is the ONLY way to prepare poultry! I just took a brined turkey out of the oven right before reading this post, in fact!
such a lovely little sweater! I forgot to mention that if you have any American knitting supply needs, I will send you anything you want so you can be ready when the mood schlagens
Thanks for all the comments!
Tiff-- knitting is not hard once you know how--
Nicole-- Can we call Ken Uncle Monkey at Christmas?
Randy- yum
Karen-- The pattern is from your book! Are you around the first week in January? That's when we'll be in Mecca...
